Patient Appointment

At Desert Orthopaedic Center, your needs are our highest concern. We understand how important it is for you to be seen in a timely manner. For this reason, we make every effort to accommodate appointments immediately upon request.

Emergencies

If you have a serious medical problem and are seen in the emergency room, the hospital emergency room doctors are well-trained and able to perform appropriate initial care. They will make a referral to Desert Orthopaedic Center for follow-up care if you choose a specialist in our practice. If the orthopaedic injury is complicated or severe, we are available and will respond to the emergency room doctor’s request.

Please expect delays on Mondays and days following a holiday as we typically experience a higher call volume than normal. We appreciate your patience and understanding.

After-Hours Information

At Desert Orthopaedic Center, our doctors are available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. If you need to reach one of the Desert Orthopaedic Center doctors on weekends or after regular office hours, please feel free to call our main number at (702) 731-1616.

Our answering service will contact the on-call doctor, and he or she will return your call. In the event of technical difficulties, we can be reached through Desert Orthopaedic Center at (702) 731-1616.

Please note, calls after office hours and on weekends should be reserved only for real emergencies and not for routine questions or medication prescription refills.

Prescriptions & Refills

New prescriptions and refills are only issued during our normal business hours, 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday. You can request a prescription by calling (702) 731-1616​. For refills, please call your pharmacy.
