Dr. Michael Miao Provides Care for USA Swimming at Championship in Israel

Dr. Michael Miao recently traveled to Eilat, Israel, to provide medical care for USA Swimming at the 2018 FINA World Junior Open Water Swimming Championships.

“We are very fortunate at USA Swimming to have a strong volunteer base to help support our athletes as they strive for success in international competition,” says Lindsay Mintenko, national team managing director at USA Swimming. “Our coaches, medical staff and team managers are an integral part of our athletes’ achievements.”

The 2018 FINA World Junior Open Water Swimming Championships lasted three days. USA Swimming took home the championship trophy as well as five medals: two gold, two silver and one bronze.
