Effective May 1, 2013, Michael Miao, M.D. will become the Interim Head Team Physician for UNLV Athletics on the departure of Dr. Michael Milligan to Northwestern University. Dr. Miao will coordinate the care of all UNLV athletes among the various medical and surgical specialists who keep them in good health. A national search will be started to replace Dr. Milligan who is a Family Medicine physician specializing in Sports Medicine.

Basketball Conference tournament at the Orleans Arena. With the arrival of the PAC-12 tournament at the MGM Arena this year, Dr. Miao, Dr. Chad Hanson, and Dr. Matthew Fouse will
